In the charming historic village there are a selection of restaurants, a casino and the famous Racecourse within the grounds of "Chateau de Marquise" of Pompadour a stunning and large Chateau to be visited.
The château is nestled on the slopes of a small valley from which a cascade of ponds tumbles down through the woods. With no other neighbours than its grounds, it is a haven of tranquillity.
Uzerche, the "Pearl of the Limousin," and the Périgord Noir, with its delights, are nearby. Pompadour is just a few minutes away. With nearly 150 events annually, the Cité du Cheval (City of the Horse) will satisfy equestrian enthusiasts, while night owls will be pleased to go to the casino .
